We are looking for an amazing Operations Lead across our offices in Pakistan. You’ll be joining as an Operations lead in a lively and productive workplace where we work together to help other businesses run better.
We’re looking to add hustlers into our supply operations, the role entails you to:
- Front End facilitation of truckers (for on-spot resolution of challenges being faced)
- Verifying all data is recorded on the portal/app before initiating requests for Payments
- Maintain an active Liaison with the Finance Department for Data reconciliation and upgrade
- Timely initiating requests for all on-spot and contractual trips
- Recording all extra payments (Lolo, Labor, Warehousing, overweight charges in respective Booking IDs)
- Timely collection, record maintenance and dispatch of all trip documents (Bill-Ts, PODs, EIRs etc.)
- Filing system for client and month wise completion of hard copies of trip documents
- Maintaining an active liaison with Commercials team for required documents
- Recovery of capital from the market
- Backtracking all missing PODs through vendors, brokers and franchise partners
- Additional services ( Labor Arrangement for loading / offloading, Collection of cheque/ cash, Inventory Management (Trackers, Fuel Cards, Locks etc.)
- Sourcing of Warehouses to cater for LTL (Less than Truck Load) requirements
- Ensuring cross-docking as required by the customer
- Liaise with Product team for incorporation of new features in the tech
- Develop a Quality Engine and checklists for all verticals of Operations
- Develop a roadmap from demand initiation to containers' drop-off and suggest monthly improvements in processes.
- Develop contracts with third parties (Courier Services etc.)
- Formulate contracts with Muhafiz and other LEAs to avoid unforeseen events like thefts of loaded goods, shrinkages and losses, accidents / incidents, strikes etc.
- Develop checklist regarding HSE compliance of vehicles and containers
- Certifications for TRUCK IT IN (ISO Certifications and others)
In order to excel at this role, the candidate must have:
- Minimum 3 years of Operations Experience (Preferably Freight forwarding, Shipping Lines, Logistics, Trucking etc.)
- Minimum Bachelors
- Ability to handle pressure situations.
- Must be aware of finance/accounting terms.
- Must be willing to go in field on occasional basis for collection of docs and payments
- Good knowledge of excel/ google sheets
